We come alongside 24 Israeli towns—from the Galilee in the north to the Negev in the south—that are experiencing severe economic hardship. Working through the mayor’s office and the social welfare network, we help sustain and support needy families, many of them new immigrants.
The Christian Arab community in Israel is quietly shrinking. As many seek refuge in the West, those who remain often find themselves a small and vulnerable minority within predominantly Muslim neighborhoods—facing growing pressure and even persecution. But in the face of hardship, we have a powerful opportunity.
Through your gift, we’re able to extend the tangible love of the Lord—offering not just food, but hope, dignity, and a reminder that they are not forgotten. Together, we can stand with them in their hour of need.
Filled with delicious treats to encourage and delight, our cheer baskets serve as the perfect gift to Holocaust survivors and children from needy families on their birthdays, special occasions and holidays.
Our team of handy volunteers renovates homes of the disabled, poor and elderly, many of them Holocaust survivors. Many of these apartments are tiny, damp and located in buildings over 100 years old with no elevators. We fix leaky plumbing, replace broken windows, paint, plaster, rewire and do general maintenance work.
Many Jewish people in the former Soviet Union are too old or ill for the journey home to Israel, and will live out their days in terrible poverty. Your donation to Project Tikvah provides them with warmth in the winter, medication and nutritious meals. More importantly, it tells them they are not alone or forgotten.
“He has sent me…to comfort all who mourn…” (Isa. 61:1–2) We minister to anyone touched by war or terrorism, delivering special cheer baskets to the wounded in hospitals after a suicide bombing and to the bereaved. Special needs, such as wheelchairs, food vouchers, and financial assistance for medical bills are provided for those in long-term rehabilitation.
