Measuring Our Impact in Israel

Your Trusted Partner in Israel for Over 58 Years
Bridges for Peace: A Legacy of Support for Israel
For over 58 years, Bridges for Peace has been dedicated to blessing the nation of Israel and the Jewish people. The heart and vision instilled by our founder, Dr. G. Douglas Young, is still alive and active today. In 1964, Dr. G. Douglas Young moved to Israel and embarked on a remarkable journey. He founded an educational organization that would later evolve into Bridges for Peace. When the Six-Day War of 1967 started, Young converted the school van into a makeshift ambulance, and his wife, Georgina, hosted Israeli soldiers and fed them homemade meals in their kitchen.
Continuing a Legacy of Love and Education
Their legacy of combining practical support, showing love to the Jewish people, and educating the worldwide Church on the truth about the nation of Israel continues today. In the more than half a century since Young established Bridges for Peace, volunteers from around the world continue to come to Israel to bless the Jewish people, show their love to this nation, and then return home as ambassadors for the Land and people of the Bible.

Uniting Christians and Jews for a Stronger Israel
Honored with the Yakir Yerushalayim (Worthy of Jerusalem) and Yakir Keren HaYesod awards, Bridges for Peace is driven by a deep, unwavering connection to Israel. We believe in the power of uniting Christians and Jews—standing together to foster understanding and strengthen Israel’s future. Our calling is clear: to stand with Israel always—in times of peace, crisis, and uncertainty. Through humanitarian projects that provide tangible aid to Israelis and educational initiatives that combat antisemitism and anti-Israel sentiment worldwide, our global network remains steadfast. At all times, we choose to bless the Jewish people and stand with Israel—unapologetically and unshakably.
